Ways to work together
Each engagement builds on the one before it. Lift is the heart of the work, and everything else leads into it or carries it forward.
Refine
A focused strategy engagement to look at the whole business at once and decide what matters most. We work through seven areas of your business, choose the projects worth your time, and build the roadmap for the next quarter with the full year in view.
- Who it's for
- Owners ready for the next stage who want the plan laid out before they commit to more.
- What you walk away with
- A project roadmap for the next quarter and a dashboard to track it.
- Length
- Two weeks of working sessions, then two weeks of follow-up calls as you put the plan in motion.
Starting at $3,500
Lift
Six months of hands-on work inside your business, leading alongside you through the stage you're in right now. We take ownership of the operational side with you and your team. That covers hiring and team structure, systems and processes, vendors and agencies, and the projects that keep getting pushed to next quarter. It's the most hands-on work we do, and it asks something of you too. That's why it lasts.
- Who it's for
- Owners with a business that works, a team in place, and growth that needs an operator in the room.
- How it starts
- Every Lift engagement opens with a Refine session, so the work begins with the plan.
- Length
- Six months
Starting at $6,500 per month
Momentum
Once Lift is complete, we stay on as your ongoing operating partner. You run the business with an experienced operator beside you for the decisions, the priorities, and keeping your team accountable as the business keeps growing. It's a lighter touch than Lift, with the same partner who already knows your business inside and out.
- Who it's for
- Owners who have completed Lift.
- Length
- Six- to twelve-month terms
Starting at $3,000 per month
How It Works
A conversation about your business.
You tell us what's going on. We ask the right questions. Together we figure out which engagement fits where you are right now.
We look at the business from the macro level down.
From inside the business, it's hard to see where things break down. We look at the full picture: how decisions move, how departments connect, and what keeps routing back to you.
We align the departments, the technology, and the people.
We integrate into your business and build the structure alongside your team. The right processes, the right systems, and the right people in the right seats so everything works together.
Your business runs and you stay in the work you're best at.
The right team is in place, the structure holds, and the problems that used to come back to your desk have somewhere to go. You get more out of the business with less stress.
Questions We Hear
What does a fractional COO actually do?
A fractional COO carries operational leadership on a part-time basis instead of as a full-time executive. In our work, that means looking at how decisions get made, where work slows down, who owns what, and how the departments of the business connect to each other. We take ownership of the operating changes alongside you and your team.
What size business do you typically work with?
Established businesses with revenue over $1 million and up to $15 million. The common thread is a business that has outgrown the way it was originally built and an owner who is ready for operational leadership.
How many clients do you work with at a time?
We intentionally limit the number of businesses we work with so every engagement gets full attention. If there isn't an open spot when you reach out, we'll talk through timing and what would work for both of us.
Is there a waitlist?
Sometimes. If we're at capacity, we'll have a conversation about your timeline and ours to find the right starting point.
How do we know which engagement is the right fit?
That's what the first call is for. We talk through where your business is, what's going on, and which engagement makes the most sense for what you need right now.
Do we have to start with a specific engagement?
Focus and Refine are both designed as starting points. Lift is for businesses ready for a deeper, fully embedded engagement, and it always opens with a Refine session. Momentum is available to businesses that have completed Lift.
